Gerald focuses on building financial plans and managing investment portfolios to help clients achieve their unique financial goal, whether it is saving for retirement, growth for future generations, managing funds for special situations, or wanting to invest with a conscience.

Gerald is a Portfolio Manager, and has provided financial advisory and investment management services for clients since 1994. He is a senior vice president at Raymond James Ltd. Gerald is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with an Economics degree, and earned his Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM®) designation from the Association of International Wealth Management (AIWM). He was also granted the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation as a discretionary portfolio manager along with the FCSI designation, and is options licensed. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was a Portfolio Manager at the Macquarie Group’s Canadian Private Wealth division, and began his career in the financial services industry with the Royal Bank of Canada. He has been a guest commentator on the Business News Network (BNN) in the Market Call Tonight, Market Morning: Market Movers, The Close, and InveStyle segments. Gerald has partnered with Brian Worth to form the Worth Allaye-Chan Investment Counsel to serve both individuals and institutions.

When he is not busy crunching numbers , Gerald enjoys travels to warm destinations, and is usually chasing balls on tennis courts or pedaling hard on bike trails with his wife, two daughters, and son. He is also the family chef and daughter’s personal chauffeur to her tennis tournaments.
